The Upsilon Beta Chapter at the University of Northern Colorado is doing their part to build up the next generation of Latino men. At the 2019 edition of their Latino Youth Leadership conference, eighth grade students from Northern Colorado had the opportunity to make new connections, listen to keynote speakers, and take part in workshops geared at preparing them for life’s next chapters. By the numbers, this event brought in 221 students from 10 schools, 30 mentors, and 4 workshop facilitators for a day of growth, learning, and fun for the students.
